Hi Jeanne and Scott!

Many thanks for your great work.
With help of your book for 1Z0-808 I managed to prepare and pass the exam.
Currently, I'm using Java 8 at work, but there are some plans for an upgrade.
I have several years of experience with Java 8.
I'm planning to get certified with 1Z0-829
My questions are:
Can I do it directly with your book OCP Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 17 Developer Practice Tests: Exam 1Z0-829?
Do you have the GUI test tool for this book as well?
What do you think it may sense first to read a book for Java 11 and then jump into Java 17?
Do I need more materials for preparation or only your book should be sufficient enough?

Thank you,
Boyan

No. You want the 829 study guide. The practice tests book for this promo is meant to supplement the study guide with more questions/practice.

The study guide has an online exam engine that includes three unique practice exams. All questions in the practice tests are also available in the online test engine that comes with that book. The questions across the two books are unique.

No.  We wrote the study guide assuming the reader is familiar with Java 8 or higher.

The study guide may be enough. Or you may need more practice questions (like our practice tests book.) It depends on the person.
