Jul 13, 2016 at 21:40 comment added stdunbar I agree with @Mast - your code may have nothing to do with it. In general this looks like pretty clean code. Sure, I would recommend cleaning up some things - for example, Java always creates a default constructor so your PeopleList constructor isn't need. But that is not a giant thing and wouldn't really affect much. At the end of the day, software engineering is part science, part art. Depending on the reviewers artistic tastes they may have not liked some of this but as a hiring manager and a prehistoric Java hack, I would have thought that you did pretty well on this.
