- 2$\begingroup$ Why is while(true): in any way more sensible? Write down a full explanation of how the two bits of code work. Which is simpler to understand? $\endgroup$Paul Powell– Paul Powell2017-09-28 13:42:01 +00:00Commented Sep 28, 2017 at 13:42
- 2$\begingroup$ @PaulPowell It might be interesting if you ask your question about how control flow teaching is leaving gaps - particularly if you have specific student groups in mind. $\endgroup$Sean Houlihane– Sean Houlihane2017-09-28 13:59:29 +00:00Commented Sep 28, 2017 at 13:59
- 1$\begingroup$ @sean I think it is simpler than leaving gaps. It is about a student being able to express themselves in code. Did you try writing down a full explanation of while true? $\endgroup$Paul Powell– Paul Powell2017-09-28 14:15:14 +00:00Commented Sep 28, 2017 at 14:15

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. self-learning), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
