  • Thank you, though this doesn't quite answer my question. I KNOW I want InnoDB. I'm asking if it makes sense to convert to it while still on 5.0, rather than my original plan of waiting until 5.5, since, on 5.0, presumably MyISAM is faster than InnoDB. Commented Aug 17, 2012 at 14:32
