Yes, I've been bad in not posting, oh well, I'm just going to have to break it all up into smaller posts.

Is he saying that the concepts of right and will have no "common sense" in BDSM?
Without rights and safe words, what is the Dom really wanting from their sub beyond compliance?
EDIT: I am not looking answers to how rights and will come into play. I am asking WHAT THIS GUY MEANT by HIS comment.

Last night as we were walking around Greenwich Village..... we walked into this store, called NY Fetish. It was such an awesome shop. An this very nice lady helped U/us. My life has got a lot more interesting recently. I mean, it was pretty interesting before, but now - hmmm.
Actually, I think we can pinpoint it down to one crucial instant.
We were out, in public. Like 'normal' people (as if you can tell who's normal and who isn't just by looking!). I wasn't collared, or wearing special/specific/particular clothes/jewellery/make-up. No cuffs, no special instructions, no rules. Nothing. I therefore, fairly understandably I think, assumed I was out with my boyfriend, and not my Master.

Hello, my name is Kathryn Lee Hamilton, and I am the author of a new science-fiction/fantasy novel, The Marah Of God.
I wanted to post a short story based on my book on this community, because as well as being (I hope) a good novel with an interesting plot, it has vivid spanking and S&M scenes as a large part of the book, which actually really enhances and furthers the story line.
