    You'll also need need write access to your home directory (specifically, ~/.drush). Probably not an issue, but I mention it because we ran into issues with running drush as our web user and got nothing but some pretty cryptic messages for diagnostics (our web users only have write access into htdocs style folders inside their home directory).
