- Do you check block with delta bartik_search exited? You can debug with kint($block) to see it.user62538– user625382016-11-03 10:58:42 +00:00Commented Nov 3, 2016 at 10:58
- You should not need to call the view builder. Block plugins have a ::build method that returns a render array, which you can just return. What are you trying to do that you need to render and then place into a new render array?mradcliffe– mradcliffe2016-11-03 11:36:47 +00:00Commented Nov 3, 2016 at 11:36

- I really do not understand what you are trying to do? Are you trying to place a Search Form or a Search Block Form on the page somewhere? Where on the page? Through what mechanism? Knowing that I can provide the best answer. Thanks.mradcliffe– mradcliffe2016-11-04 13:05:37 +00:00Commented Nov 4, 2016 at 13:05

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. taxonomy-terms), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
