I am a complete newbie when it comes to anything Wiki. I've browsed Wikipedia quite a bit, but never edited. Wikiversity sounds like a good opportunity to get involved.
I think things are pretty chaotic around here right now. It's tough to find my bearings. It's nice to read things like "be bold!"
Computer programming is not a completely foriegn notion to me. I been trying (off and on) to program ever since my teenage years. My biggest stumbling block is the cost. The internet has been helpful in that respect. I am hoping (and expecting) that Wikiversity will be even more so.
My primary interest lies with the Java programming language. I expect that that is where I will spend most of my time once I get oriented (and the program gets up and running).
