  2. Thanks for the software. In case it makes a difference to my suggestions/questions, I thought I'd mention I'm running MKVCleaner in Wine on Linux.

Can the GUI only display in Spanish? It's no big deal as it's not hard to work out what the buttons do, but displaying in the PC's native language would be nice.

    Other things that'd be nice:
    - An option to prevent "_clean" being appended to the file name when the output folder is not the same as the source folder.
    - An ability to clean other items in addition to streams, such as titles, tags, attachments and chapters.
    - To see information about streams other than their type and language. For example, when there's two audio streams and one is 2ch while the other is 5.1ch, it'd be nice to be able to remove streams based on the number of channels as well as language. That sort of thing.

    Thanks again.

  3. This software looks nice and clean and is exactly what I'm looking for for some of my tasks but, unfortunately, it's in only in Castilian Spanish. I'd absolutely love to see language options.

That said, hello_hello's list of other things would be great to see added.

Edit: I've figured out some of the buttons using basic logic but I'll have to do some translating to figure out the others.

  5. tronx,

I don't know if you're familiar with MKVCleaver, but if you're not you might want to check it out.
It's a tool for extracting streams from MKVs rather than for selecting the ones to keep, but the concept is still fairly similar.

I'm not suggesting the way MKVCleaver works is the only way it should be done, or that it's the perfect GUI, only that it might give you some ideas.

    Cheers.

  6. In the panel where you can select the video, audio, and subtitles to include/remove it would be nice if there was an option to select all and de-select all. Sometimes I have files I am dealing with that have 10 or more audio languages and/or subtitles that I want to remove while only keeping a few which means I have to deselect more items than I actually want to keep. If I could deselect all and then only pick the ones that I want to preserve it would actually save time and require fewer actions.
