Dec 26, 2015 at 20:21 comment added JesseTG To be honest, it was a while ago, I don't remember how I did it.
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:16 comment added Školstvo So you did make UV's in blender. You used sphere projection unwrap right? Otherwise the texture wouldn't have show up at all.
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:09 comment added JesseTG Sure, gimme a minute.

Dec 26, 2015 at 20:08 comment added Školstvo Can you post the moon texture. I'm curious how it's mapped?
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:06 comment added JesseTG No, I don't believe so. I'm literally just setting the relevant prefab to use this half-sphere in a mesh filter, then picking a material to use for it.
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:04 comment added Školstvo The spheres don't come with their own UV's in Blender. Are you mapping the textures in some other way in Unity?
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:03 comment added JesseTG I made the mesh in Blender; I literally just took a sphere and cut out half the vertices, then threw it into Unity. I don't recall doing anything about the UV layout. And I applied the material to the whole mesh, which is half a sphere. (I'm trying to use half a sphere as a performance optimization.)
Dec 26, 2015 at 20:01 comment added Školstvo Are these spheres actual 3d meshes? Where are you making the spheres? Are you using the default Unity Spheres? Are you making them in 3d max or Blender? Or some other way? What is the UV layout of these spheres. How exactly did you apply a material to only half the sphere, and why?
