- What does the "Legend items" look like from the legends item properties. If you take a screenshot of it.HeikkiVesanto– HeikkiVesanto ♦2017-03-07 10:19:27 +00:00Commented Mar 7, 2017 at 10:19
- Same trouble here - it looks like composer treated every (or not simple) symbol as square or expand it into square bounds and add some extra spacing... I also didn't found any solution (not counting some obvious like create only square-composed icons on map).Jendrusk– Jendrusk2017-03-07 10:20:15 +00:00Commented Mar 7, 2017 at 10:20
- could you create two legends and change the spacing on just one?Ian Turton– Ian Turton2017-03-07 10:23:03 +00:00Commented Mar 7, 2017 at 10:23

- iant, I could make different legends indeed and position them manually, but I'm preparing a template for other users who are not familiar with QGIS so I have to make it as simple as possible.GuiOm Clair– GuiOm Clair2017-03-07 10:25:50 +00:00Commented Mar 7, 2017 at 10:25

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. arcgis-desktop), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
