Data takeouts are possible, I was actually really surprised by this, based on the nature of Facebook. Unlike the other services I tested (excluding ProtonCalendar) Instagram is incredibly fast on data takeouts, generating ~3 megabytes of data in less than 5 minutes, opposed to Reddit, Twitter, and others, which took a minimum of 1 day to do about the same.

Data can be taken out in full. This was also surprising to me. There is the downside that you have to request HTML and JSON data separately, so I had to do 2 takeouts to get everything. It is highly complete, and it took less than 20 minutes for me to get all data (time to login (several times) included)

Data takeout is hidden behind some settings, and a password is asked for every time you go to do a data takeout. Other than that, it doesn't try to restrict you from doing a data takeout.

Data can only be taken out for 4 days, which is much shorter than the 7 days or longer that other services I tested give.

Data can be taken out in a standard format. A ZIP file is given, which contains all data in acceptable formats, although you have to do 2 takeouts if you want to get both JSON and HTML data.
111+
112+
Standard formats include, but are not limited to:
113+
114+
```plain-text
115+
JSON, MP4, MP3, ZIP, TXT, JS, CSS, HTM, HTML, ODT, PDF, XML, SVG, OGG, OGA, PNG, JPG, GIF, JP2, JPE, ISO, YAML, EPUB, OGV, WEBM, MKV, ODS, ODP, ODB, SQL
116+
```
117+
118+
Standard formats must have high levels of recognition, and cannot be a special format created by the owner of the site, unless said format is an international recognized ISO standard.
