I built an extension to integrate memray into VS Code. It's definitely not as feature rich as the flamegraph reporter, but makes it really easy to get started. I'm wondering if you'd be open to link this somewhere in the memray documentation.
Key feature is inline annotation in the IDE:
It also works in Jupyter cells:
