I dont particularly care much for the Github changelogs that replaced other repos I might be interested in.

The "Good morning, {username}!" at the top is too precious for my taste. I come here to review PRs, not to exchange pleasantries with the LLM.

I'd love it if I could hide PRs and issues I don't want to see anymore.

Why does this appear on hover? Hover is terrible UX for touch inputs. Make it a menu or something always there. I don't want to accidentally click this.

I'd like an option for the Feed to be my default view.

Do we really need to have the feed as a separate page? Much less annoying to have it under the home page.

Add me an option to remove the useless AI bullshit or opt-out of it.

A way of setting the default back to the feed, and move the AI to below everything else, more make it moveable.

I'd like the ability to hide or move agent sessions to the bottom. I'd also like the option to use the feed view as the preferred view.

when pressing github logo save if you prefer the feed or home view as part of the user experience state

This isn't feedback regarding the Feed mechanism, this is about the newly rolled-out GitHub Copilot Pro mechanism native to the GitHub Internet web-app. Please pass this feedback along: The newly tooled Copilot is much better. It appears to be calling from a [Titanic] raft of tooling to answer a given query or at minimum gives the illusion of such. I can affirm with neither prejudice nor bias, neither fear nor favour, that all of that tooling is MOOT, that is bunk and fundamentally flawed, if one of the PRIMARY and mandatory toolcalls to drive the tooling and agentic responses, is not aware of the IMMEDIATE USER-FACING CONTEXT: Device, OS, Browser ~ all of this is immediately web-discoverable. It is INANE, with all of that GH Copilot tooling, that this is not fundamental and furnished. As a result, all Copilot's transactions and agentic cascades and cascades of tooling calls, draw from a poisoned well and are sundered, profoundly expensive and the magnificence of the system, as a result, underdelivers as standard and will continue to do so until this is repaired. Truly, this is one of the LOGICAL first tools that should have been in situ for the new rollout. Thank you to all concerned. In wrathful benevolence Deixis and Intertextuality: |

I'd like to toggle back to the feed instead of the agent sessions, as I don't use the agent sessions much. Or sort it at least, so pull requests come first before agent sessions

I'd like a filter for time for issues as some are years old. Now I can go close them or archive the repos, but they weren't in my face before and now they are. I liked the feed of what I was actually subscribed to, releases etc.

I would like an easier way to browse my repositories by organizations and teams. Since repositories are already linked to teams, it would make sense to navigate them this way. Ideally, having a folder-like hierarchy for repositories would allow multiple paths to access the same repositories.

can i disable the copilot block? or at least change spots, so it's at the bottom?

I just miss a reorder feature to move issues, pullrequest and agent.

I just turned this feature preview off, because the Home page is fairly useless to me with Copilot (blargh) switched off. Back to the Feed!

I like the new dashboard, but where did the trending repos list go? Enjoy giving that a scan every now and then.

I am one of the first 5,000 GitHub users, and I am disappoint Fifteen years ago I submitted a change on Microsoft Codeplex to the Prism project for an obvious feature gap that I found using the framework at a large financial institution Despite being a former M$FT employee, I was respectfully told that contributions were only accepted from M$FT employees. I never went to that website again Instead, nearly every day since then I've come to this website, specifically https://github.com to discover and learn from other practitioners in this art we call open source That feed was what made GitHub, well, GitHub. Over time, this website grew into the behemoth that it is today One where there are many more private repositories than public One that has become a staple of professional software engineers even more than it ever was for open source artisans When Microsoft acquired GitHub, I was afraid. Afraid that the myopic lens so endemic to the Borg cube would destroy it. A lens focused on everything that is NOT open source Seeing the new home dashboard tonight on a mobile web browser, I know my deepest fears have become reality. GitHub as I knew it is dead. Why? Because shipping even a Beta preview of it without the most defining feature — the social feed — shows how little that matters compared to the next Copilot or Codespaces feature When I thought about it more I realized I already knew that product: it's called Microsoft Codeplex ☠️ So ... GitHub is dead! Long live GitHub!

I don't know how the Top Repositories are ranked on the left sidebar but it does not show the repos I'd expect. I'd much prefer to see my most recently focused/worked on repos. I'm not seeing THE repo I'm actively working on furiously for the past week and instead I see a dead repo I haven't touched in a year :(

We made improvements to the content and layout of the home dashboard, designed to enable users to see, understand, and take action on their most important work in a single view. The default view of the home dashboard now displays short, customizable lists of recent agent tasks, pull requests, and issues. The feed view has moved to its own page at github.com/feed when the preview is enabled.
You can access the dashboard update by enabling New Dashboard Experience in Feature preview.
