Why doesn't figure width scaling seem to work in Quarto revealjs slides?

Good evening,

I've been working with quarto documents and slides for about a year now, and there are some formatting things in the official documentation that don't work for me in revealjs documents. Here is an example: I have not been able to reliably get figures to resize in revealjs documents. They either fill the available space or appear small, but I don't seem to have control over the exact size. Below are two examples in which the width setting seems to be ignored and the image simply fills the available space. You can try this with any figure. Any help or insight is appreciated!

Thank you! This did the trick. I realize there are probably many complicated conflicting default settings like this and it's not possible to make users aware of each possible combination, but it would be helpful to flag this auto-stretch setting in the basic documentation on figure formatting.
