- It is hosted on local physical servers, we checked the firewalls multiple times. There are two versions of PHPMyAdmin installed. One that is installed alongside cPanel, and one that we installed separately. The one in cPanel works fine, but the issue occurs in the manually installed one, as well as Joomla, OSE, and any other front-end we can find. And yes, it is specifically when using "select" at all.ZLHysong– ZLHysong2018-09-06 17:29:22 +00:00Commented Sep 6, 2018 at 17:29
- Do a test to install the site on another environment - e.g. download MAMP and run Joomla from there to see if you still get the issue. However, from what we know so far, I am afraid you won't be able to get an answer to solve your issues in this site. Actually this doesn't seem to be Joomla related. You need to investigate your servers. @ZLHysongFFrewin– FFrewin2018-09-06 19:13:40 +00:00Commented Sep 6, 2018 at 19:13
- I understand. I'll try that either this weekend or early next week and get back to you. In the meantime, if it's not Joomla-Specific, we can mark this as off-topic and I'll share my results in the other topic on SO.ZLHysong– ZLHysong2018-09-07 15:43:05 +00:00Commented Sep 7, 2018 at 15:43

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. joomla-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
