Postman Agent Mode

Postman Agent Mode is available on Free, Basic and Professional plans to users who consent to using AI.

Agent Mode turns your words into action across the API lifecycle. Send requests, fix errors, update tests, and more, using natural language. Agent Mode has access to an expanding set of tools within Postman, with over 70 tools already covered today. This means it can perform hundreds of tasks across the most important Postman features.

Describe what you need to do, and Agent Mode will help you complete tasks across collections, tests, workspaces, environments, monitors, and Spec Hub. Agent Mode can help create and manage requests, flows, and mock servers, and debug errors and write tests.

You can get started quickly by using built-in suggestions, selecting actions within the context of your work, or using natural language requests.

An even faster way to perform certain key tasks is to use Skills. Enter slash (/) to open the skills menu, select a skill, replace placeholders in the skill prompt, and Agent Mode will complete the required multi-step workflow.

The Agent Mode chat gives you options to switch your AI model or configure an MCP server. You can also start over or continue from a previous conversation. You can help Postman improve Agent mode by providing feedback and reporting issues.
