This community is devoted to improving natural literary talents through brutality, insensitivity, barbarism, and destruction.
This is purgatory.
THE RULES
Rules:
1) Upon joining the community you MUST post either 2 poems or one short story. A picture and brief explanation of the author’s intent is a plus.
2) Members will vote on whether you should be accepted or rejected.
3) If accepted you will then be a member eligible for voting, if rejected you will not be allowed to vote, but you can try to enter the community again in a week.
4) Each week accepted members must contribute a competitive piece for a theme genre.
5) The Permanent Moderators and the rotational moderators will vote on who wins and who loses the theme competition. The loser will be banned; the winners will become a rotational moderators.
6) All entries must be behind an lj-cut. All entries must be the livejournalist’s authentic and original (honor code) work. Plagiarism will result in banning, and possibly a report to LJ Abuse.
7) When voting you can be funny, ruthless, sensitive, endearing, spiteful, whatever. Brutal Honesty Is Approved Of And Encouraged. Just vote with your conscience and be able to back up your decision with a valid critique… or don’t vote at all.
