April Snow Showers

April 2nd  11:00 pm

April 3rd 12 noon

Somebody doesn't care for the
snow being stuck like snowballs
on her legs!

Saturday, April 4th

We woke up to more snow and it continued
to snow all day.

we had lots of snow to move around
the yard and look what came off of
the roof!

Possibly 10" of wet snow
came down over the three days.

Back to winter for a few days
until it warms up again.

April

Welcome April!

Grand #4 celebrates her 7th
Birthday ~ we wish her the
best day and not too
many April Fool's jokes.  :)

We watched, with the world, the
Artemis II launch.

We are ready for the possible snow
snowstorm, no April Fool's joke.
We will see how much we get.

Pray

Praying that God watches over all
involved...

The evening, I headed home from watching
the grands I took a different way home
because of all of the lights on the main
highway.   I knew something bad was
happening.

Later, I read that a truck crossed over the
centerline and hit a car head on.  Later, it
was reported that an adult driver passed
away at the scene, another adult and two
children were airlifted.  :(
The other adult (wife, mom, community
leader) also passed.

Later, I heard that the one family is a wrestling
family and this dad is a coach on the team
that our grand wrestles on and the team
was just returning from out of town.

Such sadness, their life was changed in
moments.   I have prayed that God watches
over the communities and this family that
are hurting so extensively.

Last Weekend of March

Heading into a busy weekend

to end the month of March.

I spent the weekend with Grand #6
and Grand #7.   I was a Chicken
Lady for the weekend supervising
Grand #6.

The rest of the family was at
Wrestling in Rochester.

Grand #6 does an excellent job
and knows the chores well.

Grand #7 likes to help and knows
how to do the dog chores.

The weather was very nice and
quite warm in the sun.

We baked some cookies.

Lined up all of the dump trucks outside.

Our dogs spent one night, since
Hubby was heading to Lineman Sons.

Harper has really grown, Teeter
wasn't too fond of her craziness  :)

We played...

and rested.

Hubby hung out with the
other Grands and helped at
the greenhouse (removed some
stumps and planted strawberries).

Saying goodbye to the month
of March!

Melting All Week ~ Made It To Friday

It has been slowly doing some melting,
the weather has been pretty cool.

Miss Kitty has been getting around,
hopefully she is hunting!

March 23rd

Slowly melting... the driveway is drying
up and the garden is clearing up.

We still have snow, to the north,
in the trees.

March 25th

Friday, finally arrived.  It has been a crazy
week at work, I can only shake my
head.

Friday, mid-day, we had the largest snowflakes
coming down (it was like a blizzard).   The
weatherman said the sun was shining.  :)

Hello Weekend!

Mixed Temps Weekend

Saturday, the second day of Spring

was beautiful.   A bit windy in some

spots but it was a warm wind!

The standing water soaked in today

with the frost going out and the

snow in the trees is melting.

The snow has melted in the fields

but left a nice swimming area for

the geese / swans.

Sunday was a chilly.

A Warm Up and Melting

We won't talk about the first part of
the week, it was cold (like below 0
cold).   Enough of that!

Thursday the 19th, I was out during
lunch taking these photos.

Morning of the 19th, we still
have plenty of snow in the yard
and the fire ring is still covered
by snow.    Teeter is watching
Miss Kitty in the yard.

The sunshine the second half of
the week has been great.

Today, it looks like we are
officially in mud season.

and the fire ring has appeared.
