- Magento started to add a message into (DUPLICATED MESSAGE - 2times one after one) Customer/Account/Dashboard: Your VAT ID was successfully validated. You will not be charged tax. But on cart/checkout page still same behaviour - adding tax like there would be Invalid Validation - bad VAT ID (It's 100% correct - checked twice on:ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatRequest.html ) It's really weird behaviour, as sometimes the customer group can be changed just because of page refresh. I'm starting to think - can it be related to when Tax Rates are checked: before/after adding to cart?versedi– versedi2014-09-26 11:14:11 +00:00Commented Sep 26, 2014 at 11:14
- If order is created by an Administrator Panel - VAT Validation and group assignment is working correctly.versedi– versedi2014-09-26 11:27:29 +00:00Commented Sep 26, 2014 at 11:27
- When Customer gets into Checkout page, the addresses are reloaded and then right customer group is assigned. I think it will be related to when the validation is triggered. Do you think it's possible to get it to validated each time customer log in?versedi– versedi2014-09-29 07:09:30 +00:00Commented Sep 29, 2014 at 7:09

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. magento-1.9), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
