May 8, 2024 at 7:07 comment added Hans Lundmark @JW: Well, I find them overall fun and interesting to read, written in a very personal style with lots of attitude. The organizing principle is to get as quickly as possible to interesting applications in mathematics and physics, including also nonlinear problems. I recommend reading the author's own preface in Volume 1 (see Front Matter here) for getting a good overview of the contents and the pedagagical philosophy.
