  • $\begingroup$ The main reason is that it would be cumbersome and more difficult to follow. I imagine someone not familiar with Mathematica would be confused about why I am going to pains to plot the inverse function. It does not help that my function inverse is multi-valued. $\endgroup$ Commented Jul 26, 2014 at 10:37
