    How long it takes for the temperature gauge to go to "cold" depends very much on the weather. If the air temp is 25C or 30C it might well take an hour or more for the temperature gauge to drop. If the air temp is 0C, you won't have to to wait so long! Commented Oct 10, 2018 at 17:54
