In this case, given the amount of tricky Markdown and the number of times I had to copy/paste back and forth to get the screen recording right, I wanted the preview for assurance. But for simpler stuff, that's a useful tip that I've used since. Thanks! | |
| Jan 27, 2021 at 15:02 | comment | added | Catija StaffMod | A small note - I'm not sure if by "new editor" you mean you disabled the editor before posting this - but what I do (often, to be honest) is to just never look at the preview - the re-rendering of MD only happens when you flip modes, so you can get around that issue by using MD mode only and just posting and then [ab]using the grace period to fix any errors. | |
