I'm able to reproduce this issue, but only when using ctrl+a to highlight, rather than highlighting via mouse. I'm noticing a trend of these sorts of bugs and I have a theory on why they're happening. Hopefully they can all be fixed in one fell swoop. Thanks for the report!

Similarly: select two paragraphs with CTRL+A and add multiline code or a numbered/bulleted list. It will break.
