- 4Perhaps if we got rid of rep for questions? Sorry to be a bore, but that is the final solution to a lot of SO's ills.nb69307– nb693072010-03-16 18:15:03 +00:00Commented Mar 16, 2010 at 18:15
- 2s/Duplicates are explicitly not allowed/Duplicates are explicitly allowed for searching, but just as explicitly closed to funnel answers into the main question and/ (sorry, can't edit yet or i'd tweak it myself)quack quixote– quack quixote Mod2010-03-16 18:21:09 +00:00Commented Mar 16, 2010 at 18:21
- 2+1: There is no flaw in the system. If people would use the search tools provided, then many duplicates would be avoided. Spend a few extra minutes searching for a similar question - review your keywords, broaden the search. Guaranteed you'll learn a few things along the way.IAbstract– IAbstract2010-03-16 19:01:25 +00:00Commented Mar 16, 2010 at 19:01

- @dboarman-FissureStudios There is no flaw in the system - can someone tell a mod so that they can turn off meta then, its work is done.amelvin– amelvin2010-04-21 00:04:14 +00:00Commented Apr 21, 2010 at 0:04

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. stack-overflow), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
