- What about StackMobile? It's not open-source. Same with StackImage, StackMail, etc.uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN– uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN2010-08-05 17:34:56 +00:00Commented Aug 5, 2010 at 17:34
- 1Well, I guess if you are asking for free advertising for closed-source projects, then you may have a difficult time getting that. They already advertise the api with the contest ad. Maybe you should inquire how much they would charge to run a stackmobile ad... (@george)jjnguy– jjnguy2010-08-05 17:51:15 +00:00Commented Aug 5, 2010 at 17:51
- That's ridiculous. I'm not making money off StackMobile. In fact it's using up bandwidth. And it's basically helping StackOverfow by making the site more accessible and promoting the API.uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN– uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN2010-08-06 00:30:24 +00:00Commented Aug 6, 2010 at 0:30
- @George, it is kind of ridiculous. But, my guess is, that's the only way you would get any advertising from SO.jjnguy– jjnguy2010-08-06 01:20:52 +00:00Commented Aug 6, 2010 at 1:20

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. stack-overflow), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
