I think that this site has to become more like a wiki where many people add small contributions to existing answers instead of creating their own new answer. Unfortunately the reputation system as it is now doesn't really encourage this yet.

I understand from listening to the podcast that this is the direction the creators of stackoverflowStack Overflow want to go too. Planned features like making questions and answers comunitycommunity editable would be a big step in the right direction.
