  • Cant you downgrade again to make them functional? Commented May 27 at 6:20
  • We are planning to do that, but we had received the switches on a version where an essential PTP feature had a bug. I was told by TAC that 10.3.6 version was a stable release that had fixed this issue and hence we upgraded all the new switches. Commented May 27 at 8:07
  • There's a 10.3(7), but neither version says anything in their release notes. I miss the days when Cisco didn't suck. I recall seeing a DDTS about some optics no longer working, needing "service unsupported-transceiver", but I'm not sure that was for the 3500, or 10.3 line. There are many other release you could try as well. ('tho moving around 2G images takes awhile.) Commented May 27 at 11:01

I did a downgrade and that solved my issue immediately. Not sure why the 10.3.6 NXOS is giving such random issues. Commented May 29 at 4:57
