EXAMPLE

The a(4) = 8 compositions of 9 into parts 1, 6, 8, 9, ... are 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1, 1+1+1+6, 1+1+6+1, 1+6+1+1, 6+1+1+1, 1+8, 8+1, 9.
