- "However, all the open-source licenses that do specify what is meant by "binary form" invariably define it as "any form that is not the source code form"" Cite?Acccumulation– Acccumulation2024-12-01 05:03:34 +00:00Commented Dec 1, 2024 at 5:03
- 1The pdf is not a redistribution of the template, so what "binary" here means is irrelevant.anon– anon2024-12-02 11:02:55 +00:00Commented Dec 2, 2024 at 11:02
- @JackAidley, maybe we are using different definitions of "template". For me, a template is a document outline with headers and boilerplate text, where the user fills out the document further. The PDF would definitely contain the filled-out template.Bart van Ingen Schenau– Bart van Ingen Schenau2024-12-02 14:00:55 +00:00Commented Dec 2, 2024 at 14:00

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. gpl-3), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
