This is a moderated community for discussion. We will discuss feminism from a poly perspective, polyamory from a feminist perspective, and vegan waffles from a feminist polyamorous perspective.

Conversation should be focused towards facilitating a greater understanding and sharing of issues, as opposed to proving one another "wrong." We don't want to stifle debate, but we also don't want it to erupt into unproductive flame wars or personal attacks.

Some of the ways this community is unlike polyamory:

We are a super tiny, new community and don't have 5000 members.
We are explicitly feminist and are not here to defend that or educate you about it. Please go read feminist_101.
Feel free to make an intro post! We'd love to hear what your experiences have been like - just put the bulk of it behind an lj-cut if it's very long.

Some of the ways this community is unlike feminist:

We are a super tiny, new community and don't have 3000 members.
We are topic-specific and "adult concepts" rated, so feel free to talk frankly about sexual matters and adult relationships. There shouldn't be any kids here.

Ways we are like those other communities:

Verbal abuse and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Neither will classist, racist, sexist, anti-gay, anti-trans, or other bigoted talk. (Or anti-feminist or anti-poly, obviously.) Treat others with respect, and don’t wander off with something that was posted as Friends Only.
