Welcome to Poly Triad UK. This community is dedicated - but not limited - to people interested in polyfidelitous relationships in the UK. Perhaps it could more accurately have been called Poly-Fi UK, but it's too late now. This community is for people living in the UK who are in or wish to become involved in closed multi-person relationships. As it just so happens however, yours truly is in a poly triad (of three women, but as of late we have a man too for good measure!) and in the UK!
Definitions:
Polyamory: The ability to love more than one person at a time without loving anyone less, through the utilisation of honesty and communication.
Polyfidelity: A relationship in which sex does not usually occur outside a given group, and all members of the group are (generally) sexually involved with one another.
Dyad: A couple, generally seeking further partners.
Triad: A three-person "couple".
Quad: A four-person "couple".
Larger polyfidelitous groupings are welcome to post here as well, but I'm not sure of the correct vocabulary for them. If you are in a closed relationship involving three or more members, or wish you were, this is the place for you. Here, you can meet like-minded people also living in the UK for discussion and advice.
Please feel free to post your introduction, questions, experiences and memories. This is not a journal for swingers or people looking only for sex, but for people genuinely interested in committed relationships involving more than two partners.
