It is more than this, I just think that the industry honeymoon phase with offshoring software development is coming to an end and more companies are starting to realize that it isn't the golden calf that they thought it would be (or were told it would be by consultants). Most management sucks and they have no idea why, so they look for the silver bullet du jour to solve all their problems. Offshoring is great if you do it right, but most don't have that kind of discipline. | |
