    A pair of points or objects should be regarded as an object. And distance should be taken as a function from the object. Using objects does not mean you make object from everything. Commented Jul 28, 2014 at 13:54
  • As I said, distance was a poor example. As for making an object from everything, I am referring specifically to what I have seen taking place, not what I have actually done - which is nothing as of yet. Commented Jul 28, 2014 at 14:44
  • It depends on the language - in SmallTalk the distance (and everything) IS an object. But in C# you have mentioned it would be bad. Commented Jul 28, 2014 at 14:54
