  • But are there any cases where server-side rendering would be better choices than the frontend JS libraries like React, Angular, Vue etc. ? Commented Aug 12, 2021 at 12:59
  • @Rui, I've updated the answer with pros & cons of the approaches. Commented Aug 12, 2021 at 13:04
  • So for instance, in case of a shopping cart, would server-side rendering be a better choice than the front-end libraries? Commented Aug 12, 2021 at 13:16
  • @Rui, no, any approach will work. Server- or Client-side rendering won't have much impact on the end user. So it doesn't matter much. This site mostly uses server-rendering, but it could as well use client-side rendering. You won't get any "strictly yes" or "strictly no" answers for this type of questions. Both approaches are valid, both are good. Commented Aug 12, 2021 at 13:44
  • If so, the server side rendering will disappear gradually, isn't it? as the client side rendering is more maintainable and scalable along with the increase of the internet speed Commented Aug 12, 2021 at 13:57
