- This is saying what the o2 frequency can be, whereas OP asked if it has to be a continuous frequency regardless of if a bus access or not. I can see what you're getting at but I don't think it's an answer, more a reply.TonyM– TonyM2024-07-17 06:47:08 +00:00Commented Jul 17, 2024 at 6:47
- I understood the OP's question as whether he has to do dummy read accesses to match a minimum frequency requirement. That is not the case as there is no minimum frequency requirement.Janka– Janka2024-07-17 08:56:02 +00:00Commented Jul 17, 2024 at 8:56
- But the OP asks clearly "Do I have to keep a steady clock on this pin or can I just pulse at random (When needed)?". The answer has to be to the question asked, afraid this isn't that. Not sure where you got dummy read accesses from, there's nothing like that in their question.TonyM– TonyM2024-07-20 13:18:18 +00:00Commented Jul 20, 2024 at 13:18

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. ms-dos), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
