May 14, 2018 at 15:39 comment added Tommy @MauryMarkowitz it's like anything else; the overriding rule is always to try to say what you're trying to say in as directly a manner as possible. This is one more option; in a lot of cases it is more expressive, so preferable. But I was mainly hoping to add to the discussion by pointing out that it wasn't a developmental dead end. Modern languages provide much the same thing.
