Objectively, there are close similarities between rules lawyering and reading rules as strictly RAW, also I can't think of another way of telling if a ruling is RAW without reading the rule in question. | |

Claims like "synonymous with rules lawyering", "nothing...would allow one to recognize the difference between RAW and not RAW" don't seem like objective statements. It's not bad enough for a downvote, but this doesn't seem like a good answer. | |
