- \$\begingroup\$ Hi, welcome to the site. I am afraid that I have downvoted your answer—despite being well-written, and addressing the question reasonably. In effect, while these are reasonable examples of “fighting classes” that do exist, and are correctly sourced—the description of them as “very combat capable” could not be more wrong. Those are actually some of the most problematic and weak classes in the game—even worse than the fighter. See here for more on that. Misleading on that point makes this a rather unhelpful answer, in my opinion. \$\endgroup\$KRyan– KRyan2018-11-26 17:59:08 +00:00Commented Nov 26, 2018 at 17:59
- \$\begingroup\$ Normally, I would try to offer some kind of suggestion for improvement—or not comment at all—but here, there doesn’t really seem like much I can say aside from “recommend something else.” So I only comment because I want to emphasize that there is nothing wrong about how you answered, and the downvote should, I hope, not be seen as unwelcoming. I just feel that it is also important to communicate with other readers that this answer would have problems if put into practice. Best of luck, and I hope this introduction doesn’t rub you the wrong way too much. \$\endgroup\$KRyan– KRyan2018-11-26 18:01:59 +00:00Commented Nov 26, 2018 at 18:01

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- Make sure you include the system tag for the game system you are asking about (if appropriate and if the tag exists).
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. dnd-5e-2014), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
