- \$\begingroup\$ I just realized that LMoP does not have a paladin, so my suggested answer is dead. Question: is there a fourth close friend/relative who could join as the Fighter?(If your wife is the cleric, which is a great choice). (I am guessing "no" but i figured I'd ask). There is a resource here for free that you may find useful as a DM \$\endgroup\$KorvinStarmast– KorvinStarmast2020-03-15 15:21:06 +00:00Commented Mar 15, 2020 at 15:21
- \$\begingroup\$ Hello and welcome to the site. Unfortunately, your question is hardly answerable in its current state and needs to be more focused. You haven't played yet, and we do not know what problems will you face (having 3 players instead of 4 probably is the lesser one). I suggest rather than try to anticipate any number of potential problems, try your session and ask us about any problems you do experience. \$\endgroup\$enkryptor– enkryptor2020-03-15 15:26:48 +00:00Commented Mar 15, 2020 at 15:26
- \$\begingroup\$ @enkryptor he's trying to get ahead of it so that there won't be problems. He's playing with his wife and kids. \$\endgroup\$KorvinStarmast– KorvinStarmast2020-03-15 15:28:04 +00:00Commented Mar 15, 2020 at 15:28
- \$\begingroup\$ @KorvinStarmast unfortunately, no there isn't a fourth player available at the moment \$\endgroup\$Dan– Dan2020-03-15 15:29:11 +00:00Commented Mar 15, 2020 at 15:29

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- Make sure you include the system tag for the game system you are asking about (if appropriate and if the tag exists).
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. dnd-5e-2014), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
