  • \$\begingroup\$ A round is six seconds, not a minute. You may be thinking of older editions of D&D, where turns were about 6 seconds and then a round was 10 turns (and thus 1 minute), but that is not the case in 5e. \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jun 6, 2021 at 13:13
  • \$\begingroup\$ True - I don't do 5e. But 6 seconds is still a huge amount of time to just be crouched in one place. Check out some MMA or Kendo/escrima fights and time what happens in 6 seconds. \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jun 7, 2021 at 14:10
