Nov 2, 2024 at 17:54 comment added Eddymage @NobodytheHobgoblin Yes, I understand that, but I think that mixing the manuals is creating more problems than fun. Personally, in the unrealistic scenario where I would play with the new rules I would wait for all the core manuals.
Nov 2, 2024 at 16:20 comment added Nobody the Hobgoblin @Eddymage, I agree, the final questions once the full set is out will be more useful in the long term. We however want to play now, and the other books are many months off yet (well, at least the MM that matters here).
Nov 2, 2024 at 15:17 comment added Eddymage I did not downvote this one, but I feel that these questions should be done when all the 3 core books have been published, since the claim "all the new material is completely compatible with the old manuals" does not appear completely true in most cases or generate serious issues.

Nov 1, 2024 at 19:55 comment added Nobody the Hobgoblin @ThomasMarkov Thank you for adding an explanation.
Nov 1, 2024 at 19:46 comment added Thomas Markov For me, it’s that you focus on lots of irrelevant stuff and don’t appear to have even tried the obvious answer, “make it work the same for PCs and NPCs”, which to me, appears to solve the apparent problem you eventually get to describing in the last paragraph.
Nov 1, 2024 at 19:36 comment added Nobody the Hobgoblin Any explanations on the downvotes? I‘m used to getting downvoted on questions, but don't understand what the objection is to this one. I don‘t think it can be lack of effort to do research.
