Jan 16, 2017 at 21:30 comment added KRyan What do you even use the spell-storing for here?
Jan 16, 2017 at 20:44 comment added Hey I Can Chan @KRyan Probably, but I hesitate to suggest it. Even when the tentacle whip is given a value of 8,000 gp, that's its value in the equivalent of treasure. Magic of Eberron says that symbionts "are not as readily available [as magic items]. Symbionts can be found and recovered as treasure, or encountered as creatures and acquired that way" (154). That makes buying the DM pizza the easiest way to get a tentacle whip. Also, can the tentacle be made more magical?

Aug 8, 2014 at 14:26 comment added KRyan I really like the focus on making everything provoke; that's a pretty solid schtick to take. Magical flight is problematic (can't be tripped), and teleportation by-passes it entirely, but there's just not much that can be done about that. That said, cross-class UMD and partially-charged wands, really? That leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
