One could go further to say they're all "melee" or "ranged" attacks. This combined, produces 4 different permutations to classify the type of an attack. And the errata explicitly classifies unarmed strike as a melee weapon attack (while noting that in spite of this classification, body parts quite obviously aren't, literally speaking, weapons). | |
