This community is intended as a safe space for individuals who have difficulties with sex and sexuality.
Have you been raped, abused, molested, or harassed? Do you find sex unenjoyable or painful? Do you find that you have little or no sex drive? Do you hate your body? Does the very mention of sex upset you? Do you find yourself traumatized by the sexual obsession of our culture?
You are not alone.
This is somewhere you can talk about it.
Community Guidelines:
Please be sensitive. To help protect those who have been traumatized sexually, any post which contains sexual content, however mild, MUST include a warning, i.e. "Sexual content follows", and use the <lj-cut> tag. (Click here to find out how.) Any disturbing content, such as descriptions of abuse, should also include a warning and an <lj-cut> tag. Any post which fails to do this will be immediately removed.
This community does not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender, sexual orientation, sexuality, age, race, nationality, color, ancestry, religion (or lack thereof), disability, medical condition, or marital status.
While we wish to encourage free discussion, we also want to keep this a safe place. Certain types of speech are specifically prohibited in this community: advertisements, personal ads, pornography, sexual harassment, sexism, racism, ageism, gay bashing, slander, name-calling, personal insults, threats, advocation of violence in any form, advocation of illegal activities (with the exception of civil disobedience).
To help maintain anonymity, "friends of" the community will not be visible. Anonymous responses to posts are allowed, and IP addresses will not be logged.
