My lightning-record-edit-form (running in a Digital Experience) scrolls to off the screen text fields that are required but not filled in when the submit button is clicked. But the scrolling doesn't happen for picklist fields. All the fields are using lightning-input-field tied to the SObject field name.

Suggestions for why this difference in behaviour and how to address it?

(I've found and am looking at lightning-record-edit form not taking the focus to the required field. and when required fields are missing in lightning-record-edit-form .)
