Best thing to do is to give it as much as you can. I still have heated discussions from time to time with people who only want to give me 4GB for 2010. It works but the performance isnt good. In the documentation I always leave it hightlighted in RED/BOLD that the server does not meet recommended minimums. | |
| May 7, 2012 at 9:45 | comment | added | Bjørn Furuknap | I disagree. Microsoft quadrupled the HW requirements from 2007 to 2010, so expect SP2013 to be heavy on the HW requirements. Worst case, you have a better performing server. | |
