We have XM Cloud environment. We have requirement not to store any media content inside the Sitecore (XM Cloud).
We want to use/store all the media content images, *.pdf, and .doc files inside the Azure Blob storage.
Is this supported by XM Cloud? If yes, How?
At the time of writing, XM Cloud uses Azure Blob storage under the hood by default (https://support.sitecore.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1002682). It is not possible to configure this to use an external tenant.
If you don't want to store media in XM Cloud, you will need to find a DAM solution such as Content Hub DAM or another 3rd party option.
