Most shops need something like $1–10 per line of code and agile is better for that kind of situations. However, I do not pretend that agile provides better quality overall. It basically boils down to can you afford to page lots of money to be pretty sure the software is correct or is it cheaper to figure out the solution once you find out that the software is not correct.
